Don  Foulds is a sculptor whose main choice of material for his art making is wood. His sculptures are very sensually carved from birch, pine and maple. They are large scale and very organic. With titles like 'Buds and Roots' and 'Seed', they very much refer to the natural world, and it's cycles.
Shawn O'Hagan's art has been inspired by Newfoundland - the sky, the sea, the land. In this exhibition she has selected heart-shaped stones and other found objects, which she installs on small shelves and then repeats in a playful painting style on small canvases.
