A Two-Person Exhibition of Artwork
Angela Baker
Colleen Schindler
Dates Showing: October 5th - November 9th, 1997

These two artists deal with the familiar and the autobiographical. Colleen Schindler of Ontario deals with the physical and the psychological, exploring identity in the context of her nation, her family, and herself. Local artist Angela Baker makes a retrospective of her life in In the End Is My Beginning, Baker depicts images that relate to three phases of her life, using portraiture and landscape to illustrate the journey. The opening reception took place October 5th when both artists were in attendance. The Women's Art Resource Centre in Toronto funded an artist's talk by Schindler, which she gave at the opening reception.
