My drawings are highly charged expressions reclaiming the human form as a personal subject and moving in a direction that has strong and fundamental meanings. I consider them satirical forms transforming humor."
Mary-Ann Kokoska: "These recent large scale drawings reflect my investigation of memory and the unconscious through the metaphor of water. I am particularly interested in the ebb and flow of currents, the spinning movement of whirlpools, and how they relate to my thought processes."
